    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1⁄4 cup butter, melted
    1 (18 ounce) cooking sauce
    1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
    2⁄3 cup breadcrumbs
    2⁄3 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese or 2⁄3 cup asiago cheese
    hot cooked pasta or mashed potatoes, if desired

Directions
    Heat oven to 400°F Line cookie sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray. Between pieces of plastic wrap or waxed paper, place each chicken breast smooth side down; gently pound with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
    In shallow dish, mix butter, 3 tablespoons of the cooking sauce and the garlic powder. In another shallow dish, mix bread crumbs and cheese. Dip chicken into butter mixture, then dip into bread crumb mixture to coat. Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes, turning once, until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (at least 165°F) and coating is golden brown. Meanwhile, heat remaining sauce until hot. Serve chicken with pasta and sauce. Sprinkle with additional cheese and basil.
    Garnishes, if desired: Additional shredded parmesan or asiago cheese and chopped fresh basil or parsley.

I found this from Yahoo food, I believe it's a Kraft recipe. I tried this out since my DH loves anything with parmesan. It is so delicious and unbelievably easy. I usually cut the chicken breasts into tenders because I prefer a heavier crispy:chicken ratio. I usually tweak the recipe by adding extra breadcrumbs as well. This is an easy basic format for chicken that we eat almost weekly!

    1⁄4 cup seasoned dry bread crumb
    1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
    1⁄4 teaspoon salt
    1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
    6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted

Directions
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    Mix cheese, crumbs, and seasonings in a bowl/dish.
    Dip chicken in butter and dredge in cheese/bread crumb mixture and place chicken in greased 15x10 baking dish.
    Bake 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

I like my breaded chicken with a crisp crust, but a lot of juice on the inside. I added some twists onto your basic parmesan and breadcrumb crusted chicken to suit my tastes and thought I’d share the wonderful results. I'm sure you have all of these ingredients on hand in your pantry already. Seasoning in the breading is subject to taste and can be varied to suit your spice mood ;-)

    1 tablespoon nonfat plain yogurt
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon Italian style breadcrumbs
    1⁄2 tablespoon parmesan cheese
    1⁄2 teaspoon basil
    salt and pepper

Directions
    Preheat oven to 350°.
    Combine breadcrumbs, cheese, basil, salt and pepper and stir together.
    Place these ingredients on a plate.
    Coat chicken with a thin layer of non-fat yogurt on each side.
    Sprinkle garlic powder, salt and pepper onto each side of chicken breast.
    Dip both sides of coated chicken into breadcrumb mixture and shake off excess.
    Place chicken in a Pam-coated pan and brown on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
    Place breast on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping chicken half-way thru baking to ensure even browning.

Okay, so sometimes being out of something turns out to be a good thing! When I went to make my traditional fried chicken tenders I realized that I was out of bread crumbs and was also out of bread to make bread crumbs. Looking around I discovered a box of parmesan/garlic crackers and crushed them up in place of the crumbs. Absolutely, positively DELICIOUS! The kids now claim this is the only way to make chicken tenders! Hope you enjoy!

    1 lb chicken tenders
    1 cup flour
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon pepper (we like to use white pepper but regular black will work fine too)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
    3⁄4 cup cracker, crushed (I used Parmesan Garlic Cheez-its)
    oil, for frying

Directions
    Combine flour with garlic powder & pepper in a bowl.
    Crack eggs and beat till throughly combined in a seperate bowl.
    Combine parmesan cheese and crushed crackers in a third bowl.
    Start by coating the chicken pieces in flour, then dip in egg wash and then dip into cracker mix.
    Set coated chicken onto a plate. When finished coating all the chicken, put the plate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let the coating "set-up".
    In a large fry pan, heat 1/2" of oil to medium high heat (I don't use a thermometer but I'm guessing 350 degrees).
    Pan fry in small batches till golden brown on all sides - depending on size of your tenders, 5-6 minutes per side.
    Remove to a paper towel lined plate till all the chicken is done.
    We served it with pasta and spaghetti sauce but i'm guessing it would go with about anything.
You may omit the Shake & Bake chicken coating mix and use about 1 cup cornflake crumbs :)

    8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1⁄2 cup finely crushed corn flakes (measured 1/2 cup after crushing)
    1⁄2 cup shake & bake chicken coating mix (use Southern Fried or regular flavor)
    3⁄4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    1⁄3 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
    1⁄2 cup melted butter (a little more butter may be needed)
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    seasoning salt (to taste)
    fresh ground black pepper (to taste)

Directions
    Set oven to 350 degrees F.
    Set oven rack to lowest position.
    Grease a medium jelly-roll pan (or a baking pan large enough to hold the chicken).
    In a shallow dish combine the crushed cornflake crumbs with the Shake & Bake chicken coating mix, Parmesan cheese and grated cheddar cheese.
    In a bowl combine the melted butter with garlic powder.
    Dip each breast firstly in melted butter. then coat in the cornflake mixture.
    Place on the baking sheet.
    Season the top of each breast with a little seasoned salt and ground black pepper.
    Bake for about 30 minutes or until chicken is just cooked through (baking time should be no more than 35 minutes).
