source (google.com.pk)We’ve all been there before. You’re searching through the fridge looking for a quick fix dinner and you come across the left over chicken from the night before. You reach for the plate, but stop short and think … am I REALLY in the mood for something soggy?
Have no fear, Squatch is here with the answer to your soggy fried chicken dilemma. Follow these helpful tips on how to crisp up and reheat fried chicken so it tastes just a good as the day before!
Your Oven is Your Friend
For crying out loud, back away from the microwave! Taking your cold fried chicken out of the fridge and putting in right in the microwave is a sure way to end up with rubbery, soggy mess. Your oven is the key to that heavenly, crsipy goodness, and just a little patience on your part will return a huge pay out.
For starters, take the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to rest at room temperature for about a half an hour. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
Preheat your oven to 375 while your waiting.
Cover one of your baking sheets in aluminum foil and arrange the chicken on the sheet. (You’ll be glad you used the foil afterwards for a fast clean up.)
It’s time to put the chicken in the oven. Be sure to take note of the variety of pieces you are reheating. Some will take longer than others to reach an optimal temperature. Wings and legs generally reheat faster, taking anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes. Thighs and breasts typically take anywhere from 20 to 25 minutes.
Sit back and relax! Or you can also get your sides ready because your crispy chicken will be done soon! Make sure you watch it carefully so it doesn’t end up under cooked or over cooked.
Once you take your chicken out of the oven, make sure you use your favorite Squatch dip and enjoy!

The best way to reheat cold fried chicken is to throw that bad boy in the oven. Depending on the chicken part, it should take about 15-25 minutes for the bird to be ready. Many people do not have the patience and end up eating the chicken cold. If you wanna enjoy fried chicken the way it is supposed to be eaten, then check out these steps below.
Take the cold fried chicken out of the fridge and let it stay at room temperature for 30 mins.
Preheat your oven to 375F.
Place the scrumptious chicken pieces that you want to heat on a baking sheet. You can cover the baking sheet in foil to make cleanup easier.
Place those golden brown lovelies in the oven and let them heat up between 15-25 minutes. Breasts and thighs will take longer to warm up (20-25 mins) as opposed to legs and wings (15-20 mins).
You should keep a very close eye on these chicken pieces, as you want to ensure that they are not overcooked.
Enjoy the smell, cause in a few minutes you are going to be enjoying some tantalizing fried chicken.
Take the chicken out after the allotted time and serve.
Enjoy warmed up fried chicken with a nice crispy exterior, all juicy and moist. You really shouldn’t have it any other way.
DO NOT USE!!
Listen, if you really want juicy succulent fried chicken like you had days ago, please do not reheat the chicken in a microwave, toaster oven or stove top.
No Microwave – Nuking the cold bird will give you chicken that warm/hot, however the outside will be very soggy…no bueno L
Toaster Oven – The toaster oven will not be able to warm the chicken evenly and there is a possibility that after heating it for a couple of minutes, some parts may still be cold.
Stove Top – Fuggedaboutit.
Reheated leftover fried chicken at home used to be a sad reminder of what could have been…but not anymore! No more eating leftover fried chicken cold. Here is the perfect method for reheating fried chicken that will keep it super moist and warm on the inside and crispy on the outside. The best method is by reheating it using a little brown lunch bag and baking it! Don’t worry, it won’t catch on fire! I served my husband a piece of the reheated chicken and heard a crunch…that’s right…A CRUNCH with re-heated fried chicken!! I kept saying ‘honey, there was a crunch’ so clearly I was super excited to post this!
